In 2011, China's textile machinery industry achieved sales of 105.013 billion yuan, an increase of 27.07%; total assets of 82.169 billion yuan, an increase of 14.86%; 682 companies. The sales value of the textile machinery industry for the year was 107.367 billion yuan, an increase of 27.44% year-on-year; the sales ratio was 97.36%, a year-on-year decrease of 0.48 percentage points. The fixed asset investment in the industry was 12.961 billion yuan, an increase of 26.26% year-on-year; the fixed assets investment in the textile machinery industry accounted for 3.61% of the entire textile industry.

In the whole year, the total profit of the textile machinery industry was 7.143 billion yuan, an increase of 1.788 billion yuan, an increase of 33.4%; per capita profit was 53205.6 yuan, an increase of 11,256.71 yuan per person per year. Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shandong provinces are the major provinces of China's textile machinery. The three provinces achieved sales revenue of 307.43, 123.15, and 26.034 billion yuan respectively, accounting for 65.79% of the country's total. Product sales revenue concentration increased by 1.85 percentage points year-on-year.
