China Drying Network Co., Ltd. informed that the drilling of wells Nos. 1–7 in Keshen, Tarim Oilfield, passed the acceptance test and successfully drilled, marking the official launch of the first 8,000-meter drilling rig in China.
The 8000-meter rig is tailor-made by Gems Machinery Co., Ltd. for the Tarim Kuche Piedmont area and is currently the most automated drilling rig in the Tarim Oilfield. The load capacity and lifting capacity are stronger than the 7000-meter drilling rig, which can meet the demand for ultra-deep well drilling in the complex strata in front of the Tarim Kuche.
After adopting the 8000m drilling rig in Keshen 2 - 1-7 wells, the load and lifting capacity increased, from the original five-opening to four-opening. After adopting a new design concept, under large borehole conditions, it is beneficial to avoid risks during the drilling process; at the same time, the completion of wells under large borehole conditions is conducive to the selection of completion test tools and the improvement of reservoir reform results. Increase production capacity.
