Eaton continues to help the world's best engine

At the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the world's top ten automotive engines of the year were released by Ward's Auto World Magazine. Half of them are equipped with Eaton ’s auto parts products. Since the awards were awarded in 1994, Eaton’s products have always been used in award-winning engines.

Among the world's top ten engines of Ward in 2012, engines using Eaton supercharger technology are: Audi 3.0L supercharged DOHCV6 engine (Audi A6); engines with Eaton lightweight exhaust and intake valve technology are: BMW 2.0LN20 turbo DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine (BMWZ4/528i), BMW 3.0LN55 turbocharged DOHC inline 6-cylinder engine (BMW 335icoupe), Ford 2.0LEcoboost DOHCL4 engine (Ford Edge) and universal 2.0L turbocharged ( LHU) Engine (Buick RegalGS).

Since 2010, the Audi V6 engine equipped with an Eaton supercharger has been selected for the Ward winning list for three consecutive years. Ward's evaluation of the engine is "powerful, efficient, without losing driving pleasure." Industry experts also praised the Eaton supercharger as a perfect blend of the engine's overall efficiency, performance and driving pleasure.

Ward Motor Magazine has selected the world's top ten in terms of engine power, fuel efficiency, packaging, smoothness, noise, vibration, comfort, and overall performance and technological innovation. Through the observation of the award-winning records, it can be found that nearly seven years of award-winning engines mostly use direct injection technology, and four of the top ten engines of this year are 2.0-liter displacement, just as if equipped with Eaton supercharger. Like the Audi A6 engine, the low fuel consumption, small displacement and high performance engine will be the main development direction of the future automobile engine.
