Recently, the ABB Group's turbocharger division announced that it has obtained a long-term maintenance agreement from LNG carrier Dynagas.
According to the agreement, ABB Turbo will serve all Dynagas three-fuel diesel electric boats - "Arctic Aurora", "Yenisei River", "Lena River", "Clean Planet", "Clean Ocean" No., "Clean Horizon" and "Clean Vision".
It is reported that ABB Turbo will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of all 42 turbochargers on the ship for a period of three years. The Dynagas fleet achieved a 99% operating rate in the first nine months of 2015, and the operating contract has been filled until 2016.
