A few days ago, the unveiling ceremony and harvesting session of the potato mechanization demonstration base was held in Jiaolai Town, Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province. The potato planter, the earth-covering machine, and the multi-functional pastoral management machine were displayed at the site; the potato killing machine and the harvesting machine were demonstrated. The supporting power of these mechanical equipments ranges from 10-60 hp and has strong adaptability. It can basically realize the production of potatoes from sowing, field management to killing and harvesting. Among them, the potato excavator produced by Beijing Modern Agricultural Machinery and supporting more than 55 horsepower represents the highest level of potato production machinery in China, and the harvest rate can reach 6 acres per hour.
