March 25, 2015, Dr. Lin Cummins Cummins Scholarship Program Experience Day held at the Cummins East Asia Development Company. John Cummins, Global Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Ms. Jennifer Rumsey, Vice President of the Company, and Dr. Peng Lixin, Vice President of China, attended the event and had cordial exchanges with students participating in the event. After the event, volunteers from East Asia R&D Center also took the students to visit the company’s engine test room and office area.
The event invited 41 winning students and 3 teachers from three universities in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University of Technology and Hunan University to participate. Dr. John Wall made a keynote speech to Dr. Lin for his classmates. He introduced Dr. Lin and some of his early experiences with Dr. Lin. Dr. John Wall hopes to establish closer links with more schools in China through the Dr. Lin Scholarship Program.
