The explosion of the former Nanjing No. 4 Plastic Factory has caused 13 deaths

At 5:23 on the morning of July 29th, the open flame of the original Nanjing Plastic Factory No. 4 Plant at Maigaoqiao, Qixia District, Nanjing was extinguished and hidden dangers were eliminated. At the first scene of the demolition of the extinguished demolition site, the bodies of three victims were found. The accident caused 13 deaths and 120 people were hospitalized. Of the 14 critically wounded people, 3 have left their lives.
The cause of the explosion has been initially ascertained. Due to the illegal construction of the construction unit during the leveling process, the excavating machinery cracked through the pipeline of the former Nanjing No. 4 Plastics Factory, causing propylene to leak, forming an explosive mixture with the air, and causing a deflagration after an open flame.
