Beijing Olympic Park-Bird's Nest-License Plate Recognition System

Beijing Olympic Park, located in Chaoyang District, Beijing, is located at the northern end of Beijing’s central axis, north to Qinghe South Bank, south to Beitucheng Road, east to Anli Road and Beichen East Road, and west to Lincui Road and Beichen West Road. With an area of ​​11.59 square kilometers, it embodies the three concepts of "technology, green, and humanity". It is a new type of urban area that integrates multiple functions of office, commerce, hotel, culture, sports, conference, and residence.

The Beijing Olympic Park-Bird’s Nest parking lot system used ordinary barriers to manage internal vehicles and external service vehicles. When vehicles pass by, they will be released through remote control after manually reviewing the paper vehicle license. However, the reality faced by the Bird's Nest parking lot is that the on-site traffic volume is large and there are various types of vehicles, which brings a lot of trouble to internal management and greatly increases labor costs. At the same time, as a large stadium, the Bird’s Nest usually has many large-scale activities and many vehicles. The original manual management equipment has very low traffic efficiency, which can easily cause congestion on the surrounding traffic roads; manual management verification, often many vehicles exchange licenses or Duplicating the vehicle license also brings certain safety hazards to the scene.

In order to solve these problems, the Beijing Olympic Park Management Committee reformed the original parking system and installed a blue card high-definition license plate recognition system on site. In the later period, our company also added some functions based on the original license plate recognition function according to the on-site usage.
