On November 14, the Tianjin Inspection and Quarantine Bureau revealed that the “Multi-layer air combination drying equipment†technology invented by the Bureau’s Industrial Product Safety Technology Center obtained national invention patents. At present, this technology has been used for the drying and storage of chemical raw material samples and desiccants used in Tianjin port inspection and quarantine work.
According to reports, the technology can make the drying room temperature and humidity within the set value, keep constant, and according to the nature of different types of samples, respectively, control the drying speed, drying temperature and drying time. The commonly used silica gel desiccant storage and transfer must be in a dry environment. Poor sealability of the desiccant storage container and changes in internal temperature and humidity can cause silica gel desiccant to fail.
