From April 2012 to May 2016, China Rubber Industry Association has carried out a series of work for the development of the tire labeling method: commissioned by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to organize key tire enterprises to complete the “Green Tire Industry Development Research” project. The first "Green Tire Technical Specification" was issued in China, the Green Tire Industrialization Promotion Working Committee and the Green Tire Technical Support Center were established, and the "Tyre Label System Research" issue issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was completed, and the Tire Label Grading Standard was held. The technical specifications of the China Tire Labeling Law are consistent with the EU Tire Labeling Act, including tire rolling resistance, noise and wet skid performance. Tire testing is also equivalent or equivalent to the EU technical standards.
 
The orderly implementation of the tire labeling system requires effective, fair and impartial supervision. Xu Wenying said: "China Rubber Industry Association will strictly follow the "Tire Label Management Regulations", randomly or irregularly extract the labeled tires from the market, commission a third-party qualified laboratory or test site for testing, and publish the test results. If we find out that the labeling of the company is not true, the company can apply for re-examination within half a month. If the test result does not match the label content, we will cancel the qualification of the tire label."
 
With the establishment and implementation of tire grading standards, tire companies will increase investment in green tire development and production, and the market share of green tires will continue to increase. The tire industry will take the green tire industrialization as an opportunity to comprehensively promote the energy saving, environmental protection and clean production of the tire industry.
