Combustible gas alarm installation specifications and principles

Combustible gas alarm installation specifications and principles:
1. Effective coverage horizontal radius of combustible gas alarm: indoor should be 7.5m, outdoor should be 15m. A detector can be placed within the effective coverage area.
2. The alarm selection point should be within the range of 1 meter around the valve, pipe interface, air outlet or easy to leak, as close as possible, but does not affect the operation of other equipment.
3. The alarm should be installed in a place where the gas is easy to leak, easy to flow, and easy to stay. The installation position should be determined according to various conditions such as the density of the gas to be measured, the direction of the airflow at the installation site, and temperature.
4. When detecting methane, hydrogen and other flammable and/or toxic gases lighter than air, the installation height should be 0.5~2m higher than the release source, and the horizontal distance of the release source should be less than 5m.
5. Detecting combustible gas that is heavier than air. It is recommended that the installation height of the flammable gas alarm should be higher than the floor (or floor surface) by 0.3 to 0.6 m, and the horizontal distance from the release source should be less than 5 m. Installation too low can cause the detector to enter the water; too high is beyond the height at which the gas can accumulate.
6. When detecting a toxic gas (such as carbon monoxide) that is close to the molecular weight of the air and is easily mixed with air, the combustible gas alarm should be installed within a height of 1 m above and below the release source.
The flammable gas alarm installation specification elaborates on the installation principle of the alarm, etc., and must provide good guidance to the users who have installed the flammable gas alarm.
