Ministry of Science and Technology on the 20th released the 2016 China Science Top Ten progress, "developed a high-performance clean carbon dioxide into liquid fuels new cobalt-based electrocatalyst" topped the list.
The ten major advances in science in China in 2016 are:
- Developed a new cobalt-based electrocatalyst that converts carbon dioxide into liquid fuel with high efficiency and cleanness;
- Create a new shortcut to coal to olefin;
- reveal the molecular genetic mechanism of heterosis in rice yield traits;
- Proposed a new method of tumor immunotherapy based on cholesterol metabolism regulation;
Reveal key molecular mechanisms of RNA splicing;
- Discovery of sperm RNA as an inheritance trait of acquired traits;
- Developed the first stable and controllable single molecule electronic switch device;
- build the world's first non-human primate model of autism;
Reveal the epigenetic regulation of key signaling pathways during embryonic development;
Reveal the nuclear quantum effect of water.
China Science Top Ten Progress Selection by the Ministry of Science and Technology High-Tech Research and Development Center, has been held 12 sessions. The selection process is divided into three stages: recommendation, primary election and final election, and the recommended scientific progress is the formally published research result from December 1, 2015 to November 30,
